Madisyn

Our little Madisyn finally arrived.  She was over 6 lbs. and absolutly perfect! I'm leaving out specifics like the day, time, and weight because this is a public blog and I don't want my babies identity stolen.  If you want specifics you can email me.  Her middle name is Jusins moms' name, I never met her but from what I have heard she was a really great lady.  Labor was long but not terrible because I asked for the epidural early.  We went to the hospital at nighttime and had my mom come over and stay the night with Macey.When we got to the hospital my contractions were consistent but not strong enough to admit me.  So I did laps around labor and delivery for an hour and had them hook meup to the monitor again.  By that time I was dilated a whole centimer more and the contractions were strong enough for them to admit me.  One  I got the IV and epidural over with things went pretty good.  The nurses in L&D were awesome (the nurses in postpartum were horrible!) .  Maddy was born the next morning after two set of pushes.  It was a big surprise to me that everything went soo smoothly.  She even caught onto nursing right after she was born.  She was soo quiet that I was worried something was wrong, but that's just her nature.  She just squeaks when she needs something, like right now, maybe I'll have to post more later, but I think my baby's hungry. :-)
