I can't believe my baby's two already. It seems like only yesterday she was a little peanut in my arms. Where does the time go? Now she's an extremly active and demanding toddler. She's her own little person, with her own little quirks. For instance she loves to watch bugs on the sidewalk. But if the bug happens to touch her she freaks out. She loves dogs (although very allergic to them) and sometimes thinks she's a dog and barks at the tv if she's watching 101 Dalmations. She loves "Pooh" and has worn out her Winnie the Pooh books soo bad, same goes for the DVD. Therefore she got a chocolate dobashi Pooh birthday cake. The chocolate is for us and the Pooh is for her. We have texas sheet cake for almost every birthday and I thought I would try something different. We also did homemade mint ice cream. It was sooo good!

We did the birthday party at my parents house since it seems to be the central location for everyone that was going to come. I think it worked out a lot better for us to bring the party to St. George rather than make them all drive out to our house. We sang the happy birthday song and Macey loved it soo much that we sang it over and over, re-lighting the candles in-between. Hey, it's her party she can do what she wants to. I think we sang it a total of ten times.

Aunt Kirby gave her this lovely xylophone (thanks Kirb!) and it was her absolute most favorite toy. It's pretty fitting comming from her since she plays percussion at the college. Now I get to enjoy the benefits of Maceys lovely "music" all day long.

Grandma and Grandpa spoiled her with a tricycle. It's pretty awesome with it's old fashioned colors and style. It even has a bell:-) She didn't seem to want much to do with it at the party but once we got home she got on it. Yesterday she got going pretty good on it. Now she needs to learn how to steer. Oh well, one thing at a time. All in all she had an awesome birthday and is really good at being two (like the big tantrum she threw at the grocery store this morning.)

How fun!! Time goes by so fast. I feel like I remember when Coco was 2-- now she is turning 5 this year!!!
What a fun birthday! That chocolate cake looks good, and homemade mint ice cream would be perfect with it.
Happy 2nd Birthday Macey!!! Time just flies by!!!
She looks like she was in heaven! Enjoy it, I LOVE the twos (seriously!) it's really a sweet age.
Time flies, doesn't it? Time for another one? People ask me that, now that Alee is 2. I say, "no. I don't think so." Gotta love the noise making toys!!
Happy Birthday cute Macey!
