Spoiled Rotten

That pretty much sums up Maceys Christmas. Santa and Grandma went overboard this year. She has more toys than she knows what to do with. Although the front room is in a constant state of disaster it keeps her busy while I'm working so it's worth it!

Big Macey and little Macey. The dolls hat (which it isn't wearing at the moment) has Maceys name embroidered on it. So cute!
Bristle blocks! This is my favorite toy! Why didn't they have cool stuff like this around when I was a kid?

Checking out the stocking. Just the usual - Mr. Bubble, hair stuff, toothbrush and orange. There are a ton of other things she got that I don't have pictures of. Like her favorite toy a little barking dog from Uncle Taylor, her little people town set and a mini recliner.

I made this blanket for little bro out of his old T-shirts. It was fun to make and he really likes it. Justin and I had an awesome Christmas as well!

Gingerbread Party

On the Sunday before Christmas I had my first annual gingerbread house making party. It was soo much fun. I ordered a gingerbread house mold on amazon and baked three houses. After trying a few different gingerbread recipes I now know which ones work and which ones make huge messes.
I put Justin in charge of making our house. He seemed to have the creative juices flowing. He even made a reindeer out of pretzels - I wish I would have got a picture of it.
Here's Kirby and Josh's house. It was very cute and lovey dovey, just like newlyweds.

Taylors house won the "most candy used" award. I'm suprised it didn't collapse. Next year I will make him his own house so he doesn't have to share with Dad. They seemed to have artistic differences of opinion.

New Post!

The UPS guy came by today with our new memory card for the computer. Which means I can finally download pictures and use the family computer without swearing. Not that I would swear . . . Anyways, it's nice to have a fast computer now.
This is what I found Macey doing today. I guess she was hungry and didn't want to bother me. How considerate of her.
This is last week while I was making dinner. I didn't realize she could reach the baking soda. Unfortantly she didn't like the dish she made as well as she liked mine.

She continues to be attached to this little dog. What a cutie pie!
